Just a quick post here, for people who are interested, we have started a check list. If you would like to be a part of the translation efforts, pm me with an email address and I will add you to the list.

I need to say sorry to everyone as I have not had the time to jump on the translations like I would like. (sorry Rack).
I will be able to do this in the coming week.

Hi CKD.
I’m sorry that the answer is late.
A “Bounennkai” is very hard work for me…
So in last week, I couldn’t work at translation.
In next weekend, I will take enough time.
thanks,
Rack

will a jap language pack be made available for everbody? In that case I would like to help with translations

Yeah, its up for everyone! I think people are holding off until the final version, or should I say the 1st non-beta version comes out. Rack set up a site in Japanese for the development of the pack.

@Rack,
Are you still using the checklist? If so this would be great, as we could edit the title. You could check out a file, by putting your name next to it, that way, more than one person isn’t translating the same file. If you feel that you have done more than your fair share, which I think. You could just update the list, and I will have my guy take over and review your translations that you have already done.
Let me know.

CKD

Sorry,I didn’t use checklist.
I think it is very useful thing. But magento’s version up will change translation files.
So, it was difficult for me to tell you what file was changed.
And also I couldn’t share to you my working data.
The checklist is very good thing, but not sufficient.
Now, I have a subversion repository for translation.
I can tell you what file updated.
And I can share to you and your guy all working data.

@Rack,
Thanks for the update.
If you want to maybe we can split some of the files up and start working on them. I am starting my guy on it this week. So just let me know through here or pm.
Regards,
Shaun
