One Source from Worldwide Brands
I keep looking at One Source and almost buying it every time.
http://www.worldwidebrands.com/
Does anyone here have any experience with it? Is it worth the $299 (gulp).
If they provide what they say I’m inclined to say it is worth it but I’d like to hear from those that have used it.
One thing that irritates me a bit is that they pay affiliates $104.65 of that (first and second tier) so I’m paying for that too (even though I won’t be going through an affiliate if I buy it). Good for affiliates I suppose but adds a lot to the price IMO.

It’s worth it.
The best database and most trustworthy one available. There is none like it.
And its just ONE TIME FEE. If you setup a store you make that fee back within a month.

Thanks for the feedback Johan.
I’m assuming that you paid for it and have access?!?
Do a lot of the suppliers have data feeds available? It looks like there are a lot of small manufacturers that they deal with for drop shipping and a lot of times they don’t in my experience.
Just curious…

Johan,
I’m also interested in your feedback. You mention how great it is…
Do you speak from personal experience using the system?
Thanks

I have a membership and have checked out several of the listings. It’s a mixed bag.
I didn’t like most of the drop shippers that they had because it would be hard to make a living on the less than generous margins that you could earn.
Most of the drop shippers have a retail business on the web and compete directly with you.
However they have a bunch of low minimum order wholesalers that are actually wholesale. You have to stock if you want to deal with the best of the lot.

I susbscribed to OneSource and found it quite useful. AAfter a search it gives you, via a lot of complex things that they all used to do manually, some real time data on competitors, chance of success, whether they drop ship, a direct form to contact the company and request more info etc. I personally think its worth the one time fee, and there are other things that they send you periodcally to help with marketing etc once you are amember.

Thanks for that AnnaM. I think I’ll just go ahead and buy the damn thing and see for myself.

Ron, yup its a one-off and deductible. what the heck! I think yiou will find it useful. It even allows you to store various vendors, notes etc on it, your own personal folders. I’d like to see us have more control over those folders, like create our own folders… Cookware Providers, Housewares provivers etc. Maybe in time.

Just dropping my 2 copper coins worth of advice...this is the real deal...you may have to wade thru the searches (which is pretty dern good), but this is the ONLY real source that I have found...I have been a member for over a year and continue to open and run niche businesses ... ALL dropship.
I am planning to stock later this spring for some even better deals, but if you want to make money and run a legitimate real online business, there is no better source in my opinion.
Have a Great Day! - Jay
