Its a nice start (The bar especially.) The whole theme could still be streamlined more. It is also quite slow. (A Magento-wide problem, I know. But it also has a lot to do with the theme.)

A lovely extension that uses Highslide to the best extent. Some suggestions - Maybe as part of Overview- it is better to mention the setup steps in Admin to install the new theme (this is in the design guide anyway - no harm in repeating) ... And how do I implement the 'Quick View' feature? This is the best feature of your theme and am not able to figure out how to use it :( ...

Thank you for the comments. Please keep in mind this is an Alpha release, not even Beta yet :). I just wanted to release a theme that might help others build something different from the default. I have written a pretty extensive overview on how to apply a new theme here: http://www.magthemes.com/ I am also working on 2 other themes right now. One will be a very clean and streamlined layout. My goal is to get a very solid barebones theme that will cut out unnecessary features that most stores dont really need to use.

Great theme. Love the Quick View and lightbox effect. A few problems. Maybe my installation is buggy but I believed that Magento Connect would automatically install the theme in the appropriate directory. Had to go into the pearlib folder and install it manually. Once that was done, I noticed a difference in the Quick View feature on my site and the one on telescopeoutdoor.com. On my site, there is a "add to cart" button and on telescopeoutdoor.com there is a "view product details" button which takes you to the product page on click. The problem is the "add to cart" button in quick view does not work in internet explorer. The other problem that I had is the quick view feature wouldn't work in a secondary store. Upon inspection of my error logs, I found out that the software was looking for the zoomout.cur file and the ../outlines/p-shadow.png file in the secondary store directory (../magento/store2/skin/frontend/stratashops/telescopeoutdoor/js/highslide/graphics/ - which does not exist) instead of the main (../magento/skin/frontend/stratashops/telescopeoutdoor/js/highslide/graphics/) store directory. So I just created the directory and made a copy of the files there and now it works. My last problem is the Quick View popup is not wide enough for some products because of large images but im sure that will be a easy fix once I locate the width controller. With all of that, again still a 5 star great theme.

Telescope Theme 0.6 Released. I have made a few minor tweaks to this template. The highslide feature is now fixed on category QuickView and product gallery. Please PM me with any bugs.

Dear jwebber, great work! This theme is very good! But I have a little issue.... In "quick view" feature "Add to Cart" button doesn't work in IE7 because I get "ProductAddToCartForm" not defined ... any ideas please? Regards

Many Thanks to jwebber for this theme. A good idae for a further release would be the integration of the language switcher. (and perhaps flags instead of dropdown box? ) A build in image resizer would have been also great. ($this->directResize)
