Overview
Tracks ROI for Orders generated from your MailChimp.com Email campaigns
The MailChimp Ecommerce Tracking Plugin helps you measure the
ROI of your email campaigns. We'll track when people click from your email
campaigns, visit your website, all the way to purchase. Then we'll aggregate
the information and display it on your MailChimp campaign report.
Installation
This section describes how to install the plugin and get started using it.
NOTE - during installation your store may display errors related to configuration. We suggest that you install this during
off hours, downtime, or on a test installation to make sure you get it right when you do your production site.
Consider yourself warned.
Usage
To start actually generating data for your store, simply:

- Back up everything!
- Install Via Magento Connect - note:in some test installations we've found that you'll need to clear your cache after this.
- Make sure that the file "app/code/community/MailChimp/Ecomm360/mc360.ini.php" is writable by the webserver. This changes from server to server, so please consult your web server's documentation.
- Grab your MailChimp API Key from here
- Open the file "app/code/community/MailChimp/Ecomm360/mc360.ini.php" in your favorite text editor and paste your API key at the end of the "apikey = " line . Do Not change anything else in that file.
- If no errors are displayed at the top of your site, installation is complete.
Usage
To start actually generating data for your store, simply:
- Create and Send a Campaign with links to your store - be sure to turn on the Ecomm360 tracking during the campaign wizard tracking step!
- Click one of the links to your store and complete a purchase
- Your Campaign Report data should update immediately
