Roy Rubin, Co-Founder, CEO
Roy Rubin founded Varien (the original company behind Magento) in 2001 as a consultancy and has since transformed the eCommerce platform market with the release of the Magento platform. In a period of 18 months, Magento surpassed the 1 million downloads milestone and now records billions of dollars of transactions worldwide by tens of thousands of merchants. It is the fastest growing eCommerce platform in the world.
A results-oriented executive with over 10 years of experience founding and building products and organizations, Roy is deeply entrenched in the eCommerce and open source markets and grew Magento to be a disruptive, global player.

Bob Schwartz, President
Bob Schwartz joined Magento in 2009 and serves as President, where he oversees revenue and demand generation, brand marketing and support. He brings a 20 year track record of successfully building internet companies and brands in diverse areas such as luxury, fashion, shoes, paid content, interface and personal computers generating over $1 billion in eCommerce revenue annually.
Prior Bob founded and was Managing Partner of SchwartzGroup, a Strategic Advisory Firm focused on Internet Commerce for Fashion, Retail, Consumer Brands and Media. Prior experience includes: CEO (interim) & Board Member of luxury marketplace Portero.com; Interim President at media / commerce lifestyle company Vivre; Entrepreneur in Residence at Clearstone Venture Partners; President – USSearch.com (NASDAQ: SRCH); Founder & GM of NORDSTROM.com, and was the youngest Vice President for PC manufacturer Packard Bell Computers, where he built two consumer direct divisions.
Bob received his Economics Degree from the University of Washington.

Keren Aminia, CFO
Keren Aminia leads Finance and Operations organizations at Magento, responsible for Accounting, Finance, HR, Business Affairs and Administration. Keren joined Magento in 2008.
Prior to joining Magento, Ms. Aminia held finance management roles at Kushner Locke, Fox Studios, Spelling Entertainment and provided consulting services for various other companies. She started her career as an Auditor at Teledyne Inc. During her tenure there she received her CPA certification.
Ms. Aminia received Bachelor's Degree in Economics/Business from UCLA.

Udi Shamay, Vice President, Expert Consulting Group
Udi Shamay leads the expert consulting group at Magento and is responsible for enablement and onboarding of Magento clients and partners. He joined Magento in 2005 and has served in a variety of management roles including VP of Global Services and Senior Delivery Manager.
Prior to joining Magento, Udi held client management and strategic consulting roles at Dailey Advertising, an Inter Public Group company.
Udi received a Bachelor of Science degree from Emerson College.

Jary Carter, Vice President, Sales - North America
Jary joined Magento in 2010 where he is responsible for leading North American growth and expansion, and further building Magento's channel program throughout North America. Carter joins Magento from open source enterprise content management system vendor, Alfresco. As Alfresco’s Americas director of channels, he led the Americas partner organization as well as the territory sales team. During his time at Alfresco he grew channel-driven revenue by an average of more than 500 percent per year. Prior to joining Alfresco, Carter held roles that included senior sales positions with Omniture and Novell.
Jary received his B.A. in Marketing from Brigham Young University and his Masters of Business Administration from The Ohio State University.

Paul Wallace, Vice President, Customer Support
In this role, Paul has global responsibility for all of Magento's customer support functions, including driving customer loyalty and retention by ensuring the highest quality of customer service and support.
Paul joined Magento in 2010 and has over 18 years in a variety of customer support and service leadership roles with both start-up, and large enterprise software companies, including director of professional services, and senior director of maintenance renewal sales.
Prior to coming onboard at Magento, Paul held senior management roles at Alert Logic, TriCipher, and NetIQ. Paul was instrumental in building the customer support organizations from the ground up at both Alert Logic and TriCipher. Paul was also responsible fro driving customer satisfaction and maintenance renewal sales to record levels while at NetIQ.
He received his Master's in Business Administration from Tulane University.

Doug McIver, Vice President, Product Management
Doug joined Magento in 2010 as Vice President, Product Management. He is responsible for the Magento platform. Prior to joining Magento, Doug served as Vice President of Products for Allurent, which provides an industry leading Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform for delivering interactive and social ecommerce experiences to leading retailers and branded manufacturers. Before Allurent, Doug served as a Director of Product Management with Oracle Retail where he focused on delivering merchandise planning and optimization solutions to major retail companies.
Before Oracle, Doug was a Director of Product Management for ProfitLogic, the leading provider of retail merchandise optimization technology. During his tenure at ProfitLogic, Doug worked in a number of marketing and engineering roles.
Doug holds a Ph.D. in Geographic Information Systems from Boston University and a Bachelor of Arts from Bates College.

Susie M. Sedlacek, Vice President, Education & Training
Susie Sedlacek joined Magento in December 2010 as Vice President of Education and Training where she is responsible for key initiatives around enabling the Magento ecosystem. Susie brings 20+ years of building and scaling customer services portfolios at fast growing software and systems companies. Prior to Magento, Susie led Global Services at the open-source, PHP company, Zend Technologies Inc. At Zend, she initiated and built out a full training and certification program around PHP and Zend Framework, together with the community and partners. Prior to Zend, Susie held executive positions at the global level at Active Decisions, Niku, Serviceware, Sun Microsystems and Hewlett-Packard. She led the service portfolios for these companies during stages of high growth and entry into enterprise markets. Susie started her career in management consulting at SRI International. Susie has an MBA and a BS in Economics from the University of San Francisco.
