Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing, supporting, and servicing the customer related needs of an assigned set of strategic customers pertaining to the Magento software.
  • Help support the on boarding of new customers to the Customer Success Group at the conclusion of the sales process.
  • Contact each new Magento customers immediately upon completion of a sale. Follow up to ensure that the customer is successful at launching our product, and gather any relevant feedback from the customer.
  • Cultivate a trusting relationship with customers for the purpose of generating references for other potential customers. Coordinate w/ customers any requests for reference, quotes, or other PR and marketing needs.
  • Answer general questions and problem solve on a high level for all Magento customers that seek your help.
  • Help identify any ‘at risk’ customers and reach out to these accounts to ensure they are retained as customers.
  • Reach out to renewing accounts and assist in the renewal process as well as identify any potential problems and assist in resolving.
  • Oversee the collections process and follow up with customers in regards to billing and clarifying any misunderstandings.
  • Review incoming survey answers by customers and reach out to resolve any issues and provide solutions.
  • Demonstrate understanding of Magento software capabilities and service, and effectively communicates all offerings to the customers

Requirements:

  • Current or prior customer service, account management, sales experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Extremely detail oriented
  • Motivated, goal oriented, persistent and a skilled negotiator
  • High level of initiative and work well in a team environment
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Handles stressful situations and deadline pressures well
  • Plans and carries out responsibilities with minimal direction
  • Undergraduate degree or close to graduation
  • Full time

Territory Sales Manager

The Role

Magento is looking for a Territory Sales Manager to join the North America Sales Organization. This key member of the North American Sales Organization will be responsible for generating, developing, and closing new software subscription agreements in a defined geography. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • New market penetration
  • Calling on senior-level executives
  • Complex sales-cycle management
  • Responsible for building and managing sales pipelines
  • Working with Magento partner organization to build and close sales through channel partners

Skills:

  • 2+ years technology sales experience, preferably in software
  • Consistent over-achievement in previous positions
  • Self-starter with entrepreneurial desire
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong customer facing and public presentation skills
  • Effective written and verbal skills
  • 4-year degree required, preferably in Business field
