If i choose start date of special price is 10-jan-2009 then it ll store in db '2009-01-10 00:00:00 '. But at the time of displaying price php code is consider this date like 01-oct-2009(dd-MMM-YYYY) format, so this date is greater than current date. So special price is not displaying.
