Posted: 2009-01-11 07:29:07
Category: Product
Version: 1.2.0.1
Priority: high
Status: closed
Reported By: zhamdi

Hi, I'm sorry, I'm evaluating Mageno for my enterprise but I'm not a php specilist (don't know where to find the stack trace etc...). I'm trying to add a "simple product" as described in your wiki. And I face this problem when I attempt to save:

Fatal error: Call to a member function getId() on a non-object in C:DevelopementEasyPHP 2.0b1wwwmagentoappcodecoreMageCatalogIndexModelDataAbstract.php on line 237

I have a brand new installation and I've created one Configurable attribute that I've added to the attribute set under which I've created the product.

In the php log file I just found the same message :

#1 / Comment by zhamdi

Hi again,

Even though the error ocured, the product seams to be saved correctly. I've made another try putting numeric values as integers (20 rather than 0,02 (Kg) for weight and prices fo example). When saving with these values, no eror occurs (even though the values saved at thefirst attemp were correct but displayed with a do intead: 0.02)

Hope it'll help find te problem.

Best Regards,
