System ->configuration-> Customer Configuration -> Create New Account Options

Missing password in welcome e-mail and e-mail conformation if "Require Emails Confirmation" is set to YES.

Strangelgy , it is not missing when using the same template as Default Welcome Email and "Require Emails Confirmation" is set to No.
