(Sorry, coudln't find an exact category match)

when navigating to

http://x.y.z/rss

I get redirected to:

https://x.y.z/index.php/rss

even though I have URL rewrite on (i.e. no other link will show "index.php), and secure URLs in frontend is off. (I do have secure URLs configured, though). This was happening in 1.1.4 before upgrading to 1.1.6 as well.
