View Issue #6694 / Defatult HTML emails not sending

Posted: 2008-08-26 15:24:44
Category: Orders
Version: 1.1.3
Priority: high
Status: closed
Reported By: goingfission

Few things, we have our locale set to english (US) and all of our email address are correct. Running on a Linux server. Having issues with the cart sending the default HTML transactional emails. Even loading them, resaving them and then pointing the transactional emails (ie sales, customers etc) to the correct new file doesn't work if the new format is HTML.

We can not get any of the defaults except the newsletter sub/unsub and the forgot password email to work in HTML format. Once we load the rest and convert them to text however they will send without problems. Additionally if the "new order" transactional sales email is HTML the cart will not proceed with the checkout (getting an "undefined" popup error) although the order is recorded in the backend. And of course no email is sent to the customer letting them know in fact that their order has been received.

I still however can't get the HTML defaults to send.

Any word on *what* was changed for this issue?
