In version 1.1.3 the bug: Configurable products not reducing when purchased, Issue #6066, was fixed. But it still doesnt work in the backend the way it should. If u cancel an order made from a configurable product the configurable product gets increased instead of the simple product u actually selected.

Same problem with our store;

scenario:
- Simple product -> order it -> simple product gets decreased -> customer is taken to payment -> payment cancelled -> simple product inventory is restored.

But the problem is with the configurable product:
- Configurable product -> order it -> simple product gets decreased -> customer is taken to payment -> payment cancelled -> simple product inventory is NOT restored, but # of items ordered are added to the configurable product instead.]]> #2 / Comment by Webunity
