This problem persists in 1.1.3, and is a complete show-stopper to going live.

When a bundled or configurable product is removed from the shopping cart, the subtotal and grand total do not update. The shopping cart adds on to the $ amount previously in the shopping cart. For example, after adding one bundled product with one configuration then adding the same bundled product with another configuration the total is correct. However, when one of the bundled products is removed, the subtotal and grand total do not update and the price remains the same even though there is one less product in the shopping cart.

Sales Tax and Discounts are computed against the correct subtotal, however.
