The Magento knowledge base states that the Table Rates shipping are calculated AFTER discounts are added.
However, if I use a discount coupon code in the 1.7.0.2 shop, the table rates calculation is done on the subtotal BEFORE discount calculation.

I've found many similar forum topics about this bug, but I haven't found any solution so it seems that this bug is still open.
If there is a solution I haven't thought of, please let me know.

The same goes for the default "free shipping" method.
When I have set "free shipping" for orders over 200 euro, and I have 1 product of for instance 212 euro, the free shipping is applied.
But it is still applied when I enter a coupon code, with a 10% discount (21,20 euro). The subtotal is now under 200 euro, but still the "free shipping" is applied.]]>
