View Issue #28309 / Shopping cart price rules based on sku of custom o

Posted: 2012-09-30 14:44:49
Category: Orders
Version: 1.7.0.2
Priority: high
Status: new
Reported By: aneguitar

Hello.
Create a simple product (SKU: product1).
Then create a custom option for this product, a radio button and put two options. Each option will have an SKU.
So option 1 (SKU: option1 ) and option 2 (SKU: option2)
So if the user selects the option 1 of the radio button and then adds it to the cart, then the SKU of the added product should be: "product1-option1"
So why can't this specific SKU be used in shopping cart price rules to apply a discount in the cart when there a product with the specific SKU based on the selection the user made on the custom option?
I hope I am clear about this important issue.
Thank you very much for your support!
