In classes Mage_Customer_Model_Attribute_Data_* the customer attribute labels are inserted into validation error messages non translated:

Example @ Mage_Customer_Model_Attribute_Data_Text:

$errors[] = Mage::helper('customer')->__('"%s" is a required value.', $label);

Should be:

$errors[] = Mage::helper('customer')->__('"%s" is a required value.', Mage::helper('customer')->__($label));

...since there is no way to define the customer attribute labels for different store views in admin panel.
