Hello,

how can i add some attributes to the search-engine of the frontend. A configuration in the backend would be helpful.
i developed a ajax search for osCommerce and added very much features. Perhaps it gives some ideas grin

1. Enable disable Ajax search
2. Header with input-string, help and close-button (to disable or enable)
3. Page Navigation on many results (to disable or enable)
4. Footer with link to normal search and the active input string
5. integrated Keywords database with editable links

Hi, Dscho! I hope this can address your query.

Attributes are *supposed*

(I say *supposed* because I did not actually try it myself)
to be searchable in the front-end and
configurable in the back-end, if one goes to
admin > catalog > attributes > manage attributes > add new attribute > front-end properties >
> Searchable on Front-end >
