I have attached all the files in working order that you need to make this work. They are setup from the app/ directory down.

Here is a live example:
http://www.clearprotector.com/phone-protectors/apple.html

Only two steps to install:
1. Connect via FTP and push all my files up (nothing should be overwritten).
2. Replace your file: /app/design/frontend/default/default/template/catalog/product/list.phtml
with my file: /app/design/frontend/default/multiadd/template/catalog/product/list.phtml
(assuming a default install with no custom theme)

Let me know if you need more help.

5erTag - I just installed it on another site and it works perfectly. I am using Magento version 1.3.1. What version are you using? PM me your FTP and a login to your Magento and I’ll try to get it working for you.

I edited this post because it had incorrect information… I thought a file was missing from the zip file from Nexus Rex but it wasn’t.

I just downloaded the zip file that “Nexus Rex” supplied and I have it working.  I did not have to change the line you are talking about here.  It works out of the box.  Nexus Rex didn’t include the file to notify Magento that the Perpetual_MultiAdd module exists.  The file should be saved in here:

app/etc/modules/Perpetual_MultiAdd.xml

matt1237 - I just downloaded my .zip from above, and that file is there - app/etc/modules/Perpetual_MultiAdd.xml

Are you sure it’s missing when you download it?

Sorry, I missed that file somehow… my bad.  I have edited my post and removed the file so it would not confuse anyone.

Hi Nexus,

i solved it.

It seems that magento get in trouble with rewrite rules, also if a custom Module is disabled.
My Trying with the original was still in the list, but disabled.

using Magentos search for Rewrite xml, brought the solutiion, i erased the whole, not-working folder of my tryings, and no it works:-))

Its a bug of magento, but allready reportted by someone:
http://www.magentocommerce.com/boards/viewthread/22451/

Again, many thanks, now i want to figure out, why my Version/Uni-Mans Version did/nt work.

Greetings from Germany

Marc

5erTag - Mine is the same as Uni-Man’s version, it just took me a really long time to get the Company/Module names correct in all the correct places. sometimes it’s only module name all lowercase, sometimes it’s company_module or Company/Module or Company_Module, etc., etc.

Now it works, and i´m trying to modify it to a order different Options from one product (Ex: 2 Shirts “Timberland” in Size L, and 1 Shirt “Timberland” in Site XL)

But it doesn´t work, because its the same product_id

Got an Idea ??

wink)

I have not been able to get a configurable product to work with this method either.

Do you know if there is a way to make the configurable options show up in the list/grid view so they can be selected there?  In my application I don’t need any more than a list view since there really are not product details.  I’m selling tickets to an event.
