Hi,

I want my State/Region field to be a drop down list. So I add States for Malaysia to

table :
- directory_country_region
- directory_country_region_name

helps a lot when you want to set TableRate Shipping later. wink

so, here’s the sql.

Hi,

Wonderful codes you have there.

Thank you for contributing to the Malaysian community at Magento.

If you are interested, you can also help out in the translation of Magento from English to Bahasa Malaysia.

Those files provided are sql dump files. For me I used SQLyog (a mysql gui) to import it into my database.

@alvinluo

You may have already figured out that once you select the Country in Onepage, the Region dropdown will be populated with the state names and there’s really nothing else to do.

I’m using Magento ver. 1.3.2.3 and importing the provided SQL gives the following error in phpmyadmin;

#1062 - Duplicate entry ‘182’ for key 1

and so I edited the original SQL file to the following, and it works

mys-region-name.sql  (File Size: 2KB - Downloads: 514)

Why here I?m getting this error?
You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near \’INSERT INTO `directory_country_region` VALUES(382, \’IT\’, \’AG\’, \’Agrigento\’)\’ at line 6

Hi Shambie,

I need some help.
I’ve imported the 2 SQL files you provided to my database.

Trying to setup the TableRate for shipping but I’m prompted with these errors.

An error occurred while saving this configuration: Invalid Region/State “PER” in the Row #38. Invalid Region/State “PER” in the Row #39.

Before Row 39, all the others are set to * so it works.
The Country is set to MY as per your file. Also tried MYS, but both won’t work.
Tried to look for a solution online but to no avail.

Could you help please?
It’s my first time doing this and I’m totally lost…

Appreciate your help!

Thank you!
