Install Errors

ollienek Total Posts: 9 Joined: 2007-11-20 Ignore user	When you install the package lists the error: magento-core/Lib_Varien requires package "magento-core/Lib_ZF" (version >= 1.0.19700, version <= 1.0.19700), installed version is magento-core/Mage_Core_Modules requires package "magento-core/Lib_Varien" (version >= 1.0.19700, version <= 1.0.19700) magento-core/Interface_Frontend_Default_Modern requires package "magento-core/Mage_Core_Modules" (version >= 1.0.19700, version <= 1.1, excluded versions: 1.1) Install Errors No valid packages found PEAR ERROR: install failed any can help? Thank you

itdeptcorp01 Total Posts: 5 Joined: 2008-06-03 Ignore user	I have the similar/same error… Failed to download magento-core/Interface_Frontend_Default_Modern within preferred state “stable”, latest release is version 1.0.19871, stability “beta”, use “channel://connect.magentocommerce.com/core/Interface_Frontend_Default_Modern-1.0.19871” to install Cannot initialize ‘channel://connect.magentocommerce.com/core/Interface_Frontend_Default_Modern’, invalid or missing package file Install Errors Package “channel://connect.magentocommerce.com/core/Interface_Frontend_Default_Modern” is not valid PEAR ERROR: install failed Txs for your help Mark Leon

Jolly Total Posts: 9 Joined: 2008-08-18 Ignore user	I got same thing, too, but after a while, maybe a full two minutes, the installation continued and download said was complete. But then returned me to the Download page when I clicked on the next step. I am on shared hosting on GoDaddy.com, if that matters.
