What do you suggest to keep people from ordering items and even surfing your site while you are under construction?

Is there away to set Magento to and Under Construction Page for people who are not logged in?

Thanks!

If you don’t want anyone but you to have access to the site (i.e. not even google crawlers) and are using Apache then you can use htaccess to password protect the site:

Have you flushed you cache?

Try viewing you site in a different browser where you did not logged in as admin.

What I’ interested to is putting something like subscribe from which sends notification email when the site is ready. Anyone with the solutions?
