Is it only me or do other people have the same issue:

when I create a new product and I look into the table catalog_product_entity column sku: it is empty.
-> grid will not show product-> getsku()
-> import will duplicate products

I use version 1.0.19870 (updated with PEAR)

FYI A full new install actually solved the issue
