I like to add a link to a site search engine for customers to advertise their webiste.  Where should I put the input files for the search template to read If I used CMS manage page?  Could the manage static block do the job? Or I need to create my own module, then what class should I extend and what xml and template files should I work on or overwrite?

May be I should ask how to add a new controller to the Magento and still keep the basic frame like 2columns-right.phtml?

Is there a way to code the skeleton template inside PHP file without creating a custom module?

How do I read a file from a CMS page?
Please help ASAP.
