Did you check the sourcecode to see if the line that calls the Javascript files has the right path in it ?

Try another browser…

Change the security settings…

Enable javascript…

or all of the above wink

So FINALLY I get the Server 500 error resolved! But wait! I have ANOTHER problem :(

There are no images/styles loaded on the install screen and I can’t click the “Continue” button (it is greyed out even after agreeing to the Terms and Conditions). Soooooooooo frustrated. I’ve tried changing JS security settings, changing between 4 browsers..still nothing.

Any ideas?

Ya, I should have posted it originally.

RewriteRule .* index.php

Action php5-cgi /cgi-bin/php5-cgi
AddHandler php5-cgi .php

DirectoryIndex index.php

RewriteEngine on

#RewriteBase /

RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !^/media/
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !^/skin/
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !^/js/
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-l

RewriteRule .* index.php

I am installing this from home, so I don’t think that’s the problem

Could you try to uncomment and update the following line:
