Hello,

Is there a definitive list of template elements - the phtml pieces which are pulled into each page layout?

It would be really useful to know what templates there are, what their function is and whether they will work in sidebar or center column.

(Sorry if this has already been posted, I couldn’t find it by searching)

Hi,

Not sure about that, but try this:

To see WHAT you need to edit, and where all (or most of) the files are located:

System>>Configuration>>Advanced (left side nav, bottom)>>Developer>>

Change the view from Default to your current store under “Current Configuration Scope” (top left), and a new sub-menu appears under Developer>>Debug. Turn “Template Path Hints” to YES, save, and browse from front-end again.
