When I get to the Configuration section of the Magento Installation I see this line at the top of the page

Url “http://localhost:80/magento/” is not accessible

This happened after I installed SSL with a new Certificate. How do I fix this?

If I ignore it and move on it comes up with a really ugly php error…

It’s not error that is ugly, it’s the reason behind it

But the page before I got there I realized that the HTTP was not accessible, only HTTPS

This is really disappointing.

I just can’t seem to get the environment setup the way Magento requires. I still can’t get http access, only https.

It would be cool if this site hosted a small VM of a linux distro ready to have Magento installed on it. Does anyone know how to fix this error with the http access?
