I just completed a clean install of 1.4.0.1 and everything appears to be working fine, but my memory limit appears to be set at somewheres around 34m I get the following error

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 7680 bytes)

I’ve already checked my php.ini.sample and my .htaccess files and they are set at 128m

Is there somewhere else that this memory limit is being set?

I suddenly started to have this issue as well and my memory limit is 512M. Anyone got an idea how to get memory consuption lower? If 512M won’t be enough it’s just insane.

EDIT: This was caused by extension TBT enchanced grid 1.2 beta.

if .htaccess doesn’t work for you then you can rename php.ini.sample -> php.ini and edit the memory limit there.
Hope this helps.

Hello,

If you are running it on apache server .. check out for Rlimit in httpd.conf file of the server.

You can increase this limit restart apache. Should work fine after that.

Thanks to all. The site is up and running. The sample.php.ini was renamed to php.ini and the memory limit changed.

Thanks a bunch all!

I am having some major problems with downloadable products not completeing their downloads. I can’t seem to find where it is in .htaccess, php.ini or httpd.config

Any suggestions?
