Hi All,

We’re “Elias”, a recent startup team and have greatly enjoyed the time working with and customizing Magento. Give us a shout, as we’d like to see all the creativity being expressed with this great product. Many thanks to the Magento Team.

Here’s our first work with Magento, for a company called Alliance World Coffees: http://awcoffees.com

Feel free to check us out if you’d like.

Cheers,
- Lee

One question - To intergrate wordpress.. did you just skin WP to look like your shop?

Thanks smile

Hey All,

That’s correct, we’ve simply “reskinned” Wordpress to match our Magento design and kept the Blog underneath a sub-directory instead of a sub-domain for better SEO.

We’re glad you like it!
And be sure to send us a link to what you’re up to, as we’re always interested in the creativity that’s going on around us.

Thanks for the feedback,
- Lee

Hi All,

We used this CSS styling:

<style>
table.pagertable.view-by {
background
:#FFFFFF url(../images/pager_bg.gif) repeat-x scroll 0pt 100%;
font-size:0.95em;
display:none;
width:100%;
}

.generic-product-grid td {
border
-right:1px solid #D6CABC;
line-height:1.6em;
padding:12px 10px;
}

.catalog-listing .add-to a, .catalog-listing .add-to a:hover {
text
-decoration:underline;
display:none;
}

.generic-product-grid tr.last td {
background
-color:#FFFFFF;
border:1px solid #D6CABC;
}

.catalog-listing h5 {
font
-size:1.05em;
margin-bottom:0.4em;
text-align:center;
}

.price-box {
margin
:4px 0pt;
text-align:center;
}

.form-button {
background
:#F18200 none repeat scroll 0%;
border:medium none;
color:#FFFFFF;
cursor:pointer;
font-family:arial,sans-serif !important;
font-size:12px !important;
font-size-adjust:none !important;
font-stretch:normal !important;
font-style:normal !important;
font-variant:normal !important;
font-weight:bold !important;
height:23px;
line-height:normal !important;
margin-left:60px;
overflow:visible;
padding:1px 8px;
text-align:center;
vertical-align:middle;
}

table
.pagertable.view-by {
background
:#FFFFFF url(../images/pager_bg.gif) repeat-x scroll 0pt 100%;
font-size:0.95em;
height:1px;
margin-top:-25px;
visibility:hidden;
width:100%;
}

.catalog-listing .add-to {
color
:#555555;
display:none;
font-size:0.95em;
font-weight:bold;
line-height:1.3em;
margin:0.7em 0pt;
}
</style>

And then we used this to display a “Featured Products” Category:

{{block type="catalog/product_list" category_id="<yourCategoryID>" template="catalog/product/list.phtml"}}

No .phtml file modification necessary for this. Just throw the code into the Home CMS page. And you’ll be good to go!

We’re excited about Magento, and are glad we can help out the community when we can.

Cheers,
- Lee
