After update 1.4 no products showing

Hello,

after my update to 1.4 ... magento shows no products in fronted and category.

Can someone help

Go into the admin and re-index your products.

System -> Index Management

Select all that are red (probably all of them)

Click Submit.

The status is green “READY” but nothing has changed.

Cant do any cache processes.. always get a variation of this error -

There has been an error processing your request

I instaled it again but its still the same problem with the products

same story here. 

Will have to wait for some input which isn’t ideal on a production store - lesson learned, time to set up a local environment for upgrading in future.

I upgraded to 1.4 just now and not only are my products not visible, but I cannot login to admin panel.
I get the error message “There has been an error processing your request” “#760190343”
and there does not seem to be any solution documented anywhere. My browser is firefox. I upgraded successfully using SSH. The store is working fine except for the no products....
It’s probably just some permission somewhere or something. Any ideas?

Hi Guys
for trouble to log in to admin area try to put this address on your browser

http://yourshop.com/magento/index.php/admin/admin/ (admin 2 times)

I resolved the “There has been an error processing your request “ reinstalling from magento connect this package
Interface_Adminhtml_Default

now I can see most of admin menu but I’m unable tu run index management

I have

404 Error
Page not found.

but my admin urls have admin/admin/ and I think that there is anything wrong somewhere after installation

shop/index.php/admin/admin/process/list/

Ok, updated to 1.4.0.0. Admin is ok, found some new options. Only problem (BIG!) is that frontend is not showing at all. Cache flushing, re-indexing etc did not work… Any additional ideas that might work?

After applying the upgrade and doing several re-installs I have:

An admin with only DASHBOARD and SYSTEM in the menu.
A frontend that doesn’t display any products.

I also can’t find INDEX MANAGEMENT in my SYSTEM drop-down menu.

Any suggestions?
