Magento

I’ve installed the modern template and everything looks very close to the magento demo however the layered/faceted navigation no longer works like the demo (it only shows subcategories). Has anyone else had this issue or know a solution?

I was able to get the layered navigation to show up by simply editing a product (without making any changes) and saving it. Looks like it has something to do with the sample data import.
