Magento

Hello community,

I want to import single products via a REST API and I don’t know how to realize this. Basically I have an URI which returns XML-data and I don’t really know the import-feature included in Magento.

My question: Is there a possibility to import a whole product (including images) via the Magento-based import feature or do I have to write an own import-extension?
If I have to write an extension, are there possibilities to use existing Magento classes to generate whole products without writing my own stuff?
