My encrypted password is “ed49dd2d6bd2eb5d83f25a4612181403:GJUMKeH1XRbdfN3hHfThwd77gXhEwzHZ” that stored in backend

Please anybody know how magento encrypt admin password.

Thanks in advance

Magento will generate the Salt password hash.  In the password field, you can notice the last to characters added to the string after the ‘:’(semi-colon). That is the Salt for your installation.

So in your case - “ed49dd2d6bd2eb5d83f25a4612181403:GJUMKeH1XRbdfN3hHfThwd77gXhEwzHZ”

Salt is - GJUMKeH1XRbdfN3hHfThwd77gXhEwzHZ

Now you can generate the password using following function -

<?php
$salt
'GJUMKeH1XRbdfN3hHfThwd77gXhEwzHZ';
$pass='admin11';
echo
md5($salt.$pass).":".$salt
?>

Above code will generate the password stings as - “ed49dd2d6bd2eb5d83f25a4612181403:GJUMKeH1XRbdfN3hHfThwd77gXhEwzHZ”

Hope this will help you.
