Magento

I was on a shared hosting was told to move on to the dedicated due to cpu usage. Well I did move to the dedicated and seemed to be working fine.

But suddenly it started hittting maximum cpu usage.

Currently using 73%

It is a developement site hardly getting any user. When we get a visitor cpu usage going to 100%

Any ideas or recommendations?

Hey We had the same issue magento is really not recommended to be used with a shared hosting we used bluehost and it was mad slow. We went with servint.com for a didicated server our website runs real well now (no i am not affiliated with them in anyway) .
Problem is it is significantly pricier, but in my opinion it is the only way to run a real Magento site that people could actually use.
