If you mean Magento version - look in the admin footer.

I upgraded using the Magento Connect manager although it stopped here . . .

Did not download optional dependencies: pear/XML_RPC, use --alldeps to download automatically
pear/PEAR can optionally use package “pear/XML_RPC” (version >= 1.4.0)

On my admin interface it still says version 1.0 when I go into my connect admin it shows that 1.0.19700 is the version that is both installed & available.

Does that mean the upgrade was successful?  Thank you.

Through the main 1.0 installer website (files were uploaded via ftp).

Thanks for your help - please PM me if you want more details and/or access.

@brianjking: how was it originally installed?

You can see how it was originally installed in the post above. I have taken screen captures of the version 1.0 showing in the admin panel, additionally I have taken a screen capture of the Magento downloader when I ran the

magento-core/Mage_All_Latest
command from the updater as I was instructed (upgrading magento))

Please advise, the site needs to be ready for my client by Friday. I need to finalize development and ensure it will work with the newest version.

Thanks - all of your assistance is most certainly appreciated.

@brianjking: Do you have SSH shell access to the server?
