Magento

I got the following error message when trying to add a category on the backend:

Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 56360960) (tried to allocate 1245184 bytes) in /home/minerva8/public_html/ihsa/store/lib/Zend/Date.php on line 2461

And now I get it everytime I try to click on Manage Categories.

I have 129 categories right now - is there a limit for categories?

Does anyone know anything about this?

It’s probably a memory limit imposed by PHP, not by Magento. Shared hosting environments are typically restricted to 32 or 64 megabytes per process. See http://de.php.net/manual/en/ini.core.php#ini.memory-limit .
