Magento

Hi all,

I have a rather bespoke use for magento and wondering if it could be done with not much changing.

A client wants a site that does the normal ecommerce site stuff. Add products etc.

But the product flow is a bit different than the norm. It essentially it needs to have the project available but show multiple costs.

e.g

Price without VAT
Price with VAT.
Installation Costs for 3 bedroom house.
Installation Costs for 4 bedroom house.
Installation Costs for 5 bedroom house.
Then delivery cost.

Any advice would be great.

I think you can show prices ex / inc vat and then you would have different prices for each of the options in the same form as you would ‘sizes’ for t-shirts. SO they would be attributes?...I am talking from a logical business sense, I’m not a skilled user of Magento in anyway but I think that is all fairly straight forward in the product editing options. Have a play...see what you find.

Thanks, that’s what i thought as well. But wanted to double check before i quote the job. If not it could probably added to delivery charges. But if anyone has a good idea that would be great.
