can anybody tell me what is unit of product weight and how do i change it.

As far as I’m aware the units are whatever you want them to be. You just have to check that your shipping method uses the same units. For my Australia Post shipping module, for example, I have made this configurable (to a point) by adding a drop down box to allow the admin to set whether the product units are in grams or kilograms.
