I think Magento layout is efficient so I didnt change much on that end, but I changed the graphic concept. Some input would be great, bad or good, all welcome.

Well done! A elegant Store front, and a good match to the new Modern design Theme. Look forward to see the end result, and maybe add a pair of high fashion sunglasses to my collection.

Comments welcome about DBM (DogBedMall).

Very clean colors and design. Same goes for the sunglasses site. I would change up the footer on the dog mall site. It is too much IMO. It repeats the left nav. Perhaps get rid of the sub categories and just list out the pages and categories?

Note these sites are in the works, things will change.

The footer on sunglass site was changed to accommodate the theme better, the image is pretty old now.

The client wanted the sub-categories as your see them in DBM, but ya i can organize the side cate as requested or how I want.

Oh, the client wanted the footer to repeat the left navi for SEO purpose. If you look at all the “big” sites they all repeat the navi categories on the footer.

Another site in the works, still modification to css and custom layout changes coming.

CandleBlock is definitely my favorite based on the screenshot.

I love the design for candle block. very clean. The little decoration in the upper right is a perfect fit for the brand. The green color scheme is nice as well!
