Magento

Hi,

I am trying to install Magento on Windows with Abyss web server.  Whenever I use the correct URL

http://127.0.0.1/magento,

it keeps getting redirected to

https://127.0.0.1/magento/index.php/install/

and obviously fails as this URL is invalid.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

I have the same problem.  Any one?

same problem, impossible to install magento on ix webhosting. When I go to dev3.bettermobilesolutions.com, I am redirected to a https page. Unfortunately I have no SSL on my hosting plan, so impossible to access the first step of the install.
