Hey there guys, new to Magento here - looks really cool from the features and reviews

I’m trying to see if I can set up a store for my friend’s Jewellery business

Now I will do the design of it and we want to do something similar to this - http://www.kylescollection.com/

A website like that where it has some ABOUT pages etc to it also....I do web designing but I never done an ecommerce before

So can we me a really cool theme for Magento - like how much can it be skinned/themed?

Sure, similar site can easily be done with magento.

Magento is designed to be fully customizable. While the development team of magento says they have made it 100% flexible for any customization but it’s a bit difficult now as there is no documentation available.

But the site u have given for example can be easily implemented with magento as it has not that much feature.

I’m not big on coding - I design/PSD format

Then would hand it to a coder - anyone willing? Give me your rate roughly ballpark as what you would charge for something like that…
