After installing via Magento Connect do the following:

Simply configure the exceptions under “System"->"Configuration"->"Design"

and expand “Themes” see the screenshot and use the values for both iPhone/iTouch and AndroidOS Based phones compatibility with this theme.  Since both iPhone and Android use WebKit they will both return the user agent as “Mobile Safari”.  Be sure and realize it IS case sensitive for all values.

Cheers! wink

this doesnt seem to work when I try it on an iphone. I saw earlier posts which said to set user agent to iPhone|iPod. Which one is correct?

Sorry forgot to update my post here…

http://www.molotovbliss.com/blog/magento-commerce/iphone-magento-theme-compatible-with-android/

Use “iPhone|iPod|Mobile Safari” instead, basically.

This is the exception string I use to divert to mobile theme:
iPhone|iPod|BlackBerry|Pre|Palm|Googlebot-Mobile|Mobile|mobile|mobi|Safari Mobile
Probably redundancy in there but it seems to catch most right now.

I have followed the instructions and it works great, thank you Boomer.

I’m new to magento and need to know how to change the css for the iPhone so i can put my own logo instead of the magento demo store logo.

I dont know where it is located to change the logo etc.

Hey Friends,

I followed the instructions and this install went absolutely smoothly! I LOVE IT! Works like a dream. In fact, using the this to create a direct to store link in our latest iphone application.

I do have a question though:

Is there a way to resize, or replace our default store logo with a more “mobile-sized” logo? Or to just get rid of the store logo from the mobile theme all together?

My logo is great for my web site. But, is not sized right for the mobile theme and runs over the menu items. Screen shot attached.

Any ideas friends?

Hey guys,

I have an HTC HD2 on Windows Mobile and the iPhone template works well too on this device!

If you want to enable the template for it, simply use this expression:
Windows Mobile|iPhone|iPod|Mobile Safari

Bye.

You should be able to simply change the default logo

Edit

If you include ‘Mobile’ (with a capital ‘M’) it displays the mobile theme on the iPad - which is probably not what you want.

Also, to display on Android phones which don’t use the safari browser I’ve found ‘Android’ works - (although not fully tested)

I use the following:

iPhone|iPod|BlackBerry|Pre|Palm|Googlebot-Mobile|mobi|Safari Mobile|Windows Mobile|Android|Opera Mini|mobile
