Magento

I need to create an ecommerce website with just one product (at least initially).  This product (book) will be sold on the client’s website and on Amazon, and the orders will all be shipped by Amazon.  The client is using Amazon’s Order Fulfillment,so whatever cart / ecommerce solution I decide on, should be flexible enough to be modifiable (with php, javascript).

To decide whether Magento is the right solution, I would like to know two things:
1. Is it possible to have just one product?

2. If Amazon Fulfillment Web Services is not integrated (which I think it’s not), is the code modular enough that I can add to it with php and javascript?

1-It is entirely possible to have just 1 product. You could even have no products and use magento as a CMS if you wanted to, though I have no idea why someone would want to do the latter.
2-Magento is very modular, people are programming additions all the time. Beyond that however, I have no idea about amazon integration. Perhaps someone else can answer that.

I’m going to be working on Amazon Fulfillment integration in a month or so. Would love to connect with others seeking or working on this.
