How or where do you edit all of your auto messages, emails, invoices etc.?

Does this need to be done manually or is there a place in the admin to do this?

Check out this directory: “magento/app/locale/”

I think many of the files are in there that you’ll want to edit, if I correctly understand what you’re asking for. You can always use TextMate (or a similar program if on a Mac) to search for terms (that you’d want to change) inside an entire directory.

Thanks… that is exactly what I was looking for.

MAGENTO/APP/LOCALE/EN_US/TEMPLATE/EMAIL

all the files are under there.
