I’m having some problem with taxes.

I have set up catalogue prices include tax, and tax rates. But in the cart and checkout the tax is added again to the total.
it’s the correct amount “tax” calculated but it should not be added to the Grand total, just displayed.
Why does it add tax even after I have set catalouge price to include tax?

update:
I did a new order and now the tax was not displayed at all, not shipping cost either :S and I didn’t change any settings..
I will keep testing to see if I find out what is going on :S

In the mean time, if someone know what file controls the tax calculations and grandtotal calculation that would be nice, because maybe I need to change here to make it fit my needs.
(All products and shipping cost include tax, tax amount is calculated and displayed above grand total)

What setting did you set in Admin > System > Configuration > Sales > Tax Calculation ?

It’s set to

Tax Class for Shipping : Moms (My own tax class of 25%)
Tax Based On : Shipping origin
Catalog prices include tax : Yes
Apply Tax after Discount : No

The problem now is that, tax is added to the total amount of the order.

as you can see it dosn’t include tax in the price, but rather add it again.

I managed to find that the settings in default config and main website was not the same, after setting both these to the above image I now have front end showing price incl tax but cart and checkout shows prices excl tax and also the shipping is not adding to the total tax value.

What I need (Because Swedish law require this) is cart and checkout lists prices incl tax and shipping also adds to the tax.
Then tax is calculated and displayed (but not added again to the grand total)

What files should I edit to make these changes? please point me in the right direction here, I have everything else done and I would like to launch the site.

And on the checkout it will add another TAX amount again, eg. GST(10%)
Product - 11.00
Shipping - 5.00
Tax - 1.10
Total - $17.10

Tax should be $1.00, and total should be $16.00

I found the solution to the tax getting added twice,
Tax Based On - Shipping Address

change it to

Tax Based On - Shipping Origin
