Well, that is close to what I want, but really a pain, to manually go through every product.... Not really what I’m looking for.... What I would like is to switch the default sort order from “Best Value” (which I would like to simply remove) ascending to be sorted by Price descending. Is that possible?
In the left column click on the category that your products are under
Click the tab “Category Products”
All the way to the right under “POSITION” put in numbers from 0 and up.
0 will be your first product 1 will be your second etc. etc.
I’ve tried to do exactly this to all the products within one of my subcategories, but after I enter in all the positions and click the Save Category button, all of the product positions return to the value of 0. I can’t seem to get the positions to stick. (currently running ver 1.1.6)
