Does anyone have any tips on how I should transfer my “old” osc parts to the new Magento?

Are you talking categories and simple products? If so, it’s pretty simple. How many do you have?

Your best bet is mag-manager.com . You can download a trial.

It your not confident with database management then there’s quite a lot to explain, but if you are, then it’s not too bad.

You could also use http://www.shopping-cart-migration.com/

Failing all that, stick it up as a project on getafreelancer.com

Let me know if you have any further questions

I use mag manager daily, so know the software inside out.

The other is an automated system, so takes the fuss out of your hands completely, but you’ll have to pay for it.

Balance it up and go from there.

The automatic system is “not” currently available… Will mag manager do what I want or is there a manual way that could do it? How do you get the mag-manager for free?
