I try to build a new theme for magento based on the default interface. ( i create a new folder named fr_FR in app/design/default/my_theme/locale and put translate.csv into )

I want to add a french translate but it doesn’t work ( always original message are used ).

Any idea ?

yes, it is better if you disable the cache during translation
