The get extension key does not work on Opera(9.27 os x) it just shows 0 not extension key.

We will take a look at this first thing Monday morning.  Thanks for letting us know.

The download process just hangs and never continues with my Opera 9.27 and today the new Opera 9.5 (both Windows XP Pro).  It works when I switch over to use firefox, but Opera is my primary browser.

Opera 9.5 (build 10063) on Windows Vista. The “Get Extension” works for me. Perhaps this was fixed.

Are you still having issues?

I just tried to download 1.0.19870.4 for Mage_Core_Modules and it finally worked for Opera 9.5, but it took really long, like 10 minutes.  It just goes from “please wait”, to finished, I wish there would be some progress indicator that actually shows the real-time progress.

For the Magento staff, I can’t confirm that. I downloaded the Modern Theme yesterday and did an upgrade using Magento Connect. Finished as usual.

Crucial, did it work or not? I don’t quite understand.

Yes, it worked. I was stating that I could not backup the op’s issue with Opera because I’ve been able to get the extension key from this site and also use the downloader to install an extension.

Try to use the other browser.
