SmartOSC has simply taken care of the need for RMA’s, (Return Merchandise Authorizations) and created a solution for you. Customer Returns & Exchanges are a legacy, cumbersome issue, but as we all know are integral parts to any customer-centric business that cannot be dismissed.
We recently installed 1.7 for a client to run multi-store from. There is a page with the URL: ‘domain.com/sales/guest/form/’ which initiates some sort of return via customer input. We haven’t gotten to the ordering process yet, but when we complete our development and have some dummy orders in, I will report back and let you know how it goes.
I am unsure what version of magento they added this in, I have previously only worked with 1.4.x, and this feature was not there at that time.

Can you confirm where this extension can be found?
I would prefer it if companies rename their RMA extensions because at the moment customers (in the UK) have no idea what RMA means. Could it not be referred to as ‘Product Returns’ on the frontend?
