Hi there,
need help with this problem

My magento shop at https://theleathershop.com seems to have problems with the SSL Certificate being trusted, because some pages are currently resolving without the certificate, i.e. http://theleathershop.com/wallet/iphone-wallet.html/
Is there a way to globally assign the security protocol to all pages and ha.ve them all resolve with https?

thank you

The SSL certificate is correctly installed:
http://www.sslshopper.com/ssl-checker.html#hostname=theleathershop.com

I do not get any warnings on my end (Chrome), but make sure you have set the Secure Base Url in the Magento Admin to the ‘https’ url, and also ensure you do not reference any non-https resources in your templates, such as scripts, images or CSS files.

Hi,

It seems the above poster did not fully understand your question.
In order to do what you require you will need to configure your web server to redirect all http:// requests to https://.

How you do this will vary depending on who your web host is, I’d advise you log a support ticket with you hosting company for assistance with this.

You are right, I was a little to quick there. To redirect all ‘http’ requests to ‘https’, you can try to add the following to your .htaccess file (right below RewriteEngine On):

RewriteEngine On

# Force SSL
RewriteCond %{HTTPS} off
RewriteRule
(.*) https://%{HTTP_HOST}%{REQUEST_URI} [R,L]

There’s actually an easier way to this.

You will just need to change both the Secure and Unsure Base URL for Magento to the HTTPS URL.

This can be done in your Magento Admin --> System --> Configurations --> Web.
